Working Groups (WG)
The Working Groups are composed of the National Focal Points for the Carpathian Convention and/or persons nominated by them. The meetings of the Working Group are open for observers; depending on the thematic focus of the WG, representatives from different partner organisations and NGOs contribute with their expertise, as well.
WGs are established in order to assist the COP and the CCIC in their duties, and to discuss in a more intimate forum particular issues that need to be analyzed by experts before the main organs will decide on them.
The Carpathian Convention has eight thematic Working Groups:
