ForestConnect Webinar on Climate Change Adaptation Measures for Large Carnivores
The Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention is pleased to invite interested stakeholders to the ForestConnect webinar “Climate Change Adaptation Measures for Large Carnivores in European Mountain Regions”, organised by WWF Bulgaria on behalf of the ForestConnect project, in cooperation with the Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention.
The webinar will take place online on 6 March 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 CET.
The event is organised as part of the ForestConnect project, which supports climate-smart forest connectivity across the Balkan–Carpathian–Dinaric region. It will present practical experiences and emerging results related to climate change adaptation measures for large carnivores, with a focus on large carnivore conservation, forest connectivity and climate-resilient management in European mountain regions.
The webinar will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge and practical experience on strengthening ecological connectivity under changing climate conditions, while supporting dialogue among experts, practitioners, protected area managers, authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
