Applications Open: International Training Course on Wetland Restoration in the Context of Climate Change
The Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention is pleased to share the call for applications for the International Training Course on Wetland Restoration in the Context of Climate Change, organised by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and the Centre for Theoretical Study, in cooperation with Enki, Ltd. and the Šumava National Park Administration, under the auspices of the Czech Ramsar Committee and the Carpathian Wetland Initiative.
The training course will take place from 4 to 9 October 2026 in the Třeboň Protected Landscape Area and Šumava National Park, Czech Republic. The programme combines lectures, field visits and discussions, providing participants with practical knowledge on wetland restoration and its role in climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The course is intended for ecologists, hydrologists, civil engineers, practitioners involved in wetland restoration, and students interested in wetland conservation and restoration.
