17th Meeting of the Carpathian Convention Implementation Committee

The 17th meeting of the Carpathian Convention Implementation Committee will take place in Vienna, Austria on 7-8 September 2026.

The Carpathian Convention Implementation Committee (CCIC) acts as a monitoring body and is responsible for preparing political decisions for the Conference of the Parties. The 17th meeting of the CCIC will provide updates on the progress made since the 16th CCIC meeting held 2-3 December 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia. The meeting’s primary objective will be to prepare for the 8th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Carpathian Convention (CC COP8), to be held on 1–4 December 2026, including the negotiation of CC COP8 decisions and the finalization of all relevant documents.

REGISTRATION

The 17th meeting of the CCIC is open for participation by Member States and observers. Registration is open until 17 July 2026.

All registrations must be submitted online via the INDICO registration system. Please note that:

  • Registration will require the creation of an INDICO account for first-time users
  • The review and verification process of the registration to the CCIC meeting is not automatic and may take a few days, depending on the volume of registrations received
    • Approved participants will receive an email notification with a confirmation from the INDICO portal, which is used to finalize the registration process when arriving at the United Nations Office at the Vienna International Centre in person and for collecting badges
  • The registration link will take you to both the online and in-person registration forms
